About
Christina Anastasio
Senior Visual Merchandiser, Natuzzi Italia and Natuzzi Editions
I'm the Senior Visual Merchandiser for two Natuzzi brands, Natuzzi Italia and Natuzzi Editions. I work across wholesale, franchise, and owned retail - equating to more than 100 doors in the US and Canada.
I joined Natuzzi part-time in 2020, supporting the full US and Canada network while I finished graduate school, and moved to full-time based on performance. Four roles and three promotions later, I set the seasonal visual direction for both brands: I write floor-set guides, give directives, and draw the dimensioned floor plans that the stores implement.
In my role, I have designed and helped opened 10+ retail doors, including the first five Natuzzi Editions stores in North America. On site I direct install crews of up to fifteen, including third-party installers and outside vendors, through store openings and eight to ten floor-set resets a year.
The part that doesn't come up much in interviews: I am big on efficiencies and building systems that lead to great visual merchandising - whether I am on site or not. A lot of the territory runs remotely on these guides, and it is up to me to provide clear instructions for expert-level execution, which our brand commands.
I studied Visual Merchandising Design, then Communication and Business Leadership, both at High Point University. I also have a certificate in Visual Fashion Communication from Istituto Lorenzo de' Medici in Florence.
I'm based in New York City and open to Lead and Senior roles at premium brands.
